Andrew M. Laskin

Andy Laskin spent the first several years of his career gaining valuable experience in a variety of areas. He was a prosecutor in Brooklyn Family Court where he tried felony and misdemeanor cases, sometimes two a day, in one of the most congested and chaotic courthouses in the City. He then went to work defending the NYPD in civil rights lawsuits in federal court. From there, Andy worked in house for an insurance company, and then spent several years as a trial lawyer at a large national general liability defense firm.

Now, Andy devotes all his time to trying cases on behalf of those injured due to the negligence of others.  He is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and a frequent guest commentator on Court TV.  Andy teaches trial advocacy at Hofstra Law School during its trial advocacy training program. Andy is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.
